In three days, this course covers the practical application of auditing theory and common sense techniques to internal auditing. There is an increased emphasis on “looking for improvement” and the process approach of the 2000 standard. Included is an intensive examination of ISO 9000. The structure and application of the standard are reviewed and particular emphasis given to the process model outlined in the ISO 9000:2000 standard. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the standard and be ideally prepared for auditing both internally for improvement and against the ISO standard.
