Because we know the requirements of the standard(s) and we know the assessment and registration process from the many hundreds of projects we have undertaken, we know we can guarantee the success of your assessment.
Where we are providing full service consulting, and under other circumstances by arrangement, we guarantee you will successfully pass an assessment to your chosen standard(s). The only thing we ask of you is to follow the reasonable advice of the consultant – but isn’t that why we were hired anyway? Fortunately we have never had a legitimate problem at assessment so our guarantee has never been called into question.
Because we know the effort required to complete a project, we know the problems and pitfalls that may occur and we are familiar with almost every industry type from the many hundreds of projects we have undertaken, we are able to give you a fixed price quotation for the consulting work on your project. What is included in the quotation is up to you. If you want seats in the lead auditor training class or if you don’t want us to carry out internal training, then this can be factored in. We will even include expenses if a truly fixed price is required, although we often don’t charge them.
Selecting a consultant is a difficult task. To make it easier, we will be happy to visit and explain our service, review your operations and current situation and discuss your specific needs. This visit is useful for you to get to know and rely on us and for us to be able to prepare a quotation for our services.

Sometimes clients want to be cautious and do not want to commit to a full project at least until they have experienced our consulting expertise. In other cases there are only a few specific activities that need to be undertaken rather than a full service project. In these instances, although we may quote a fixed price to perform these limited activities we will also work under the direction of a client and bill on an hourly or daily rate. Our rates will vary depending upon how long the work is expected last and what work is being performed. Generating work instructions, where the quantity and content is not clearly defined, helping in the administration of the management system and informal auditing are areas we often work on this basis. Often clients feel they have the ability to design and write a management system on their own. However, they are faced with frequent questions about the best structure of documents, the level of detail to put in documents, interpretation of the requirements of the standard, application of the requirements of the standard, etc. Knowing there is a proven expert available to help you whenever you need one gives you the confidence to successfully tackle a management system project.
We offer different levels of support depending upon what you want.
Our service provides telephone and email support throughout your project to successful assessment. We provide guidance in the initial analysis, help with design of the structure of the system, advise on conformance to the requirements, help with training and promotion – everything to assure a successful outcome. We also provide preferential rates should you decide a visit is necessary, for analysis, training or assessment for instance and for the purchase of templates, tools, etc.
Steal customers from your competition! Its easy if you have the desire. Too many companies get their ISO 9000 certificate and claim its wonderful but its obvious its not.
Firstly, with Cavendish Scott, your system will be different. Since well before ISO was popular we were producing systems that did not contain 20 procedures. Did not mimic the standard. Our's always reflected the organization and posed the question "is this conforming to ISO 9000?" The answer was yes but it caught the purchasers eye. You want an ISO 9000 system that is different and can be justified to customers as a significant focus on quality.
Secondly it is important to promote your ISO quality system. Many companies do this but if yours is different..... We would love to help you.
