Cavendish Scott Internal Training Courses
Cavendish Scott provides a variety of public and private training courses. These courses can be tailored to your exact needs, and we often provide dedicated, modified training courses to meet particular customer needs on-site. If you are handling your own ISO 9000 implementation, professional external training can give your project that edge. Often we can provide traiing materials in te cost of the course, allowig you to conduct your own future training. The following are examples of what we can do for you. Quality Awareness
This is a one to two hour course for general employees to communicate the quality message and heighten awareness. We can repeat this course up to a maximum of 4 times throughout a single day on-site, in order to cover all employees in an organization.
Contents: What is Quality? What is ISO 9000? What does it mean to me? The requirements of ISO 9000. Implementation. The registration audit.
Executive Awareness
This is a two hour course containing all of the general awareness issues but also emphasizing the benefits of ISO 9000, management involvement and responsibilities, and how to get value out of the ISO program.
We will tailor this program to one or two days and the course is designed to provide the internal auditors with all the skills and understanding to ensure effective (and not unnecessarily over-burdensome) audits.
Contents: Quality awareness, audit planning and preparation, checklists, opening the audit, auditing techniques, closing the audit, report writing, the corrective action cycle. The course includes exercises, handouts and attendee manuals, and culminates with actual auditing on your own procedures at your own location.
IATCA Certified Lead Auditor Training
This is the approved 36-hour course required for becoming a registered lead auditor. This course is the best training available for anyone involved in the implementation of ISO 9000; interested in becoming a professional auditor; and anyone looking to improve their quality auditing skills.

ISO 9000:2000

QS9000
A one day overview of the additional requirements, the supplemental books, and how the registrars look at QS. This course should be considered by anyone already ISO registered but considering upgrading to QS 9000.
