ISO 9000:2000 Conversion Package
Cavendish Scott has a standard package to bring you up to date with the latest version of ISO 9000. This package is designed to add compliance to the Year 2000 version. What's more, in the normal Cavendish Scott way, we guarantee what we do! Training
The 2000 version is full of new and changed requirements, and you will be expected to demonstrate to your registrar that you have conducted new training in awareness, procedure changes, internal auditing, etc. The new 2000 requirements, such as continuous improvement, will involve new procedures, and you will be required to demonstrate that you have the appropriate understanding of suitable tools to make these requirements work. Documentation
Changes need to be made to your existing documentation to accommodate the new and modified requirements of the new standard. Without tearing your system apart, we will work with you to make changes to your existing documentation in order to bring it into compliance. We will ensure that you understand what you need to do to maintain your system and improve it over time. As an example, we will recommend new procedures for customer satisfaction and continual improvement. We will write and explain these procedures — and help you to implement them. The training we provide will complement procedures provided and demonstrate your knowledge to your registrar.
Document Review
In order to know how compliance to the new standard is achieved, a detailed document review will be performed. You will be presented with a comprehensive report and checklist explaining how each and every requirement in the 1994 and 2000 standards are met. Not only will this confirm compliance with the new and changed requirements, it will also highlight problems that may have occurred if your system has been "slipping" and any issues you have associated with the current requirements of the standard. It's a full and comprehensive checkup!

Cavendish Scott will perform a formal pre-assessment audit and provide you with a detailed report outlining any activities which don't meet the requirements of both the 1994 (if applicable) and 2000 versions of the standard. If the documentation has been checked at the document review stage and any issues found during pre-assessment resolved, you can have complete confidence that you are fully compliant.
Support During your Registrar's Assessment
Whether you choose to convert your registration certificate in a special upgrade assessment or over a period of time at your surveillance assessments, Cavendish Scott will be available to answer questions that your registrar might raise regarding compliance.
